Assistant Ecologist - Fulltime
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Ecologist based in Lee on the Solent, Hampshire, to join our team in delivering professional ecological services to a diverse client base. In this role, you will balance office and field-based work, supporting senior ecologists with protected species surveys, technical data analysis—including bat acoustics and QGIS habitat mapping—and the production of ecological reports. The ideal candidate holds a relevant Bachelor’s degree, possesses strong field identification skills, maintains a full driver's licence, and demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Experience in BNG assessment, GIS, and holding Protected Species survey licences is highly desirable
Bat Surveyor - Seasonal
Ecosupport Ltd is seeking Seasonal Bat Surveyors to support our survey season across Hampshire, Sussex, Surrey, Dorset and surrounding counties. You’ll undertake dusk and occasional transect surveys, collecting and recording bat activity data for ecological projects. This is a flexible, zero-hour role with full training and equipment provided. A keen interest in ecology, willingness to work evenings outdoors, and a full UK driving licence are essential.
